Even when we were showing a lot. 5-6 days straight, 2-4 weeks in a row of competing and he has NEVER acted like this. I'll see how he is tomorrow, I just don't plan on jumping until the event next weekend. So, I guess the real test will be at the event! Yeah, I’ve just never had him act like this. Whenever Bud has jumped a lot or had to travel in the trailer for a couple of hours or more I always give him a day off. He also hates dressage so after an event I give him several days off without it and try not to push too hard right before an event.
